Facing opposition following its October proposal for a development on AU Park's former Superfresh site, Valor Development has scaled back its plans.

The developer on Thursday presented its new proposal to the community, shrinking the size of its proposed grocery store from 50K SF to 14K SF and reducing the total number of units from 230 to 219, UrbanTurf reports.

The original proposal for the project at 4330 48th St. NW had already been the smaller version of two ideas it presented to the community in October 2015.
