Nationals fans meeting up before a game may soon have the opportunity for some light recreational competition of their own.
Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners has filed plans to add an entertainment-focused restaurant with an eight-lane bowling alley to its Half Street development across from Nats Park, Urban Turf reports.
The developer is nearing completion of a lease with an undisclosed tenant that will be similar in style to Pinstripes in Georgetown, according to a source. The architectural designs filed with the zoning commission also show bocce courts; and pool, foosball and ping pong tables; in addition to a bar and lounge seating area.
The Capitol Riverfront development at the corner of Half Street SE and M Street SE will have 432 units, roughly one-third of which will offer views into Nats Park. The building is expected to deliver in 2018.
