Bisnow Scoop: Three Big Names Get Cash for H Street Project

Developers Gary Rappaport, Gary Lustine, and W. Christopher Smith have just closed on an $11M pre-development loan with EagleBank for the redevelopment of a two-acre parcel with frontage on H Street between 8th and 10th streets, NE. It'll be a mixed-use project, including 425 residential units and 45k SF of ground-floor retail. Zoning is already wrapped up. (Until the building is ready, this rendering is on loan to a Richard Scarry book.)
