Construction is underway on a $21M medical office building project in Dulles after the developer landed three tenants.

Washington Property Co. secured commitments for 9K SF of the 67K SF project, roughly 13% of the building, before breaking ground.

The property sits across Route 50 from the HCA StoneSprings Medical Center. The 234K SF hospital opened in 2015, Loudoun County's first new hospital in 100 years.

WPC acquired the 8.4-acre site in October 2016 from Van Metre Homes. It expects the project to cost about $21M between development and acquisition costs.

Virginia Pediatric Group leased 4,500 SF, Jackson Clinics leased 3K SF and Royal Care Pharmacy leased 1,500 SF at the building. WPC expects to deliver it by the end of 2018.
