The revitalization of Ward 7 is imminent, with the construction of Donatelli Development and Blue Skye Developments long-awaited Park 7 mixed-use project at the intersection of Benning Road and Minnesota Avenue NE. As part of the Districts effort to boost availability of affordable housing, the building is slated to offer affordable rental space, ample retail space, transportation options, and new amenities. Utilizing Washington Gas DMR Piping Program, the apartment units are individually metered per floor and include energy-efficient natural gas appliances, allowing tenants to enjoy the added perks of comfort, reliability, and cost savings.
