A caravan of 10 charter buses, with 475 people, pulled out of One Loudoun yesterday morning for a 100-mile tour of Northern Virginia. The annual day-long tour of hot real estate markets is one of NAIOP Northern Virginia’s most popular events. They were shown over 150 properties that had at least 40k SF of available space. Each bus had three captains, who worked over a 95-page script detailing what’s going on in the market. Best part: unlike some buses, these ones didn't finish by making you go to school.
We caught Tetra Partners’ Andy Lauer, Loudoun County’s Robyn Bailey, and Gordon’s Bill Junda at the pre-tour trade show. Over 250 were registered to attend just that portion. Loudoun County also announced that Family Meal was opening one of its restaurants in One Loudoun, a mixed-use development in Ashburn.
