and actually shows you the roasting process

…right down to the beans. So if you’re not hooked by the caffeine, you’ll be hooked by learning how the coffee’s made, how much effort goes into it, and how important it is that the roasting be done soon before your drink.

As important as Starbucks is in Seattle, this is said to be an attempt to refresh its brand, which has grown long in the tooth there (to mix a metaphor). If it works, look for these elsewhere. Memo to NoMa: As long as you’re bringing in big Seattle brands like REI, see about getting this “Starbucks Reserve Roastery & Tasting Room,” too.
