Scott Johnston has joined C&W as executive managing director for the Government Services Group in the District.

The industry veteran brings 25 years of commercial real estate experience, with a résumé that includes some of the region's largest lease transactions, including a nearly 491k SF build-to-suit in Rockville for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Most recently, Scott led the commercial leasing practice at NGKF. He was named the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association’s Top Regional Producer in both 2001 and 2002.

A pair of top investment sales brokers are heading the other way, as NGKF has lured the duo of James Cassidy and Jud Ryan from C&W. James and Jud were involved in several high-profile deals during their time at C&W, including the $107.9M purchase of 1575 Eye St NW by an affiliate of the Qatari ruling family.
