The Praedium Group has shelved previously approved plans for almost 11k SF of retail and almost 14k SF of residential in a mixed-use building to install almost 24k SF for a church in Potomac Yard. The Arlington County Board approved the revised site plan on Saturday, clearing the way for Praedium to construct a 12-story, 342-unit building in Arlington's Potomac Yard, at 3001 Jefferson Davis Hwy. The land was originally approved for about 16k SF of retail and 336 larger units when The Meridian Group owned it in 2007, the Washington Business Journal reports. Praedium will construct another piece of Center Park in Potomac Yard, where German grocer Lidl will occupy 217k SF in the National Gateway building it bought last month. [WBJ]
