Take notice—Mount Vernon Triangle is rising. That was the overarching theme at a ULI event earlier this week focusing on the neighborhood, featuring MVT Community Improvement District head Claire Olesksiak, Boston Properties' Jake Stroman, Shalom Baranes Associates' Mark Gilliland, Wilkes Co's Berk Shervin, and Streetsense's Andrew Poncher. Andrew says to watch out for "three big retail deals" to hit the Triangle soon, while Claire touts the coming streetcar. New developments like Boston Properties' 601 Mass, the Baranes-designed Association of American Medical Colleges campus, and the Wilkes Co's four Triangle projects are also reasons to smile, she says.
