Maybe it was all that togetherness on July 4th. You loved our first installment last Thursday; here's more:

THE BERMANS

A clan with over 50 years of development experience in DC and elsewhere. here's Ben, Kevin, and Jeff Berman, third-generation members of Rockville-based Berman Enterprises, developers of the massive Metroview complex in New Carrollton. Three other brothers and cousins work for the family firm, as do Kevin's father Gary and his brother Dennis. With sister company BECO Management, Berman owns properties as far south as Palm Beach Gardens.

THE MILLERS

Fundrise co-founders Ben and Dan Miller are turning the traditional capital stack model on its head with their innovative crowdfunding. They must have picked up some pointers from dad Herb, developer of such iconic DC properties as Washington Harbour and Gallery Place.

THE PAPADOPOULOSES

Name a big owner, celebrity chef, or hot food concept in DC and chances are someone from the family-centric Papadopulos Properties crew has represented them. Here's Tom Papadopoulos, Charles Papadopoulos, Ralph Tapiero, John Gogos, and Nick Papadopoulos. Maybe we've spelled the name right since we've now written it so many times.
