Kudos to Linowes & Blocher real estate lawyer Bryson Filbert, who two Sundays ago battled his way to a respectable 11:07 finish in the Ironman Coeur d'Alene in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This mega race consists of a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike race, and full marathon (26.2 mile) run—Bryson's time put him in the top 10% of finishers. Bryson, who's recently worked on some apartment acquisition/disposition deals locally, says the key to his good time was the combination of a very understanding spouse (his wife ran the Boston Marathon in a respectable 3:14 in April), and "the ability to consistently function despite a lack of sleep."
