CBRE chief global economist Richard Barkham (whom we snapped with CBRE executive managing director John Germano) appreciates the character the Height Act lends to DC (and to London under a similar regulation, for that matter) but gives fair warning that change may be inevitable as people move back into cities from the ’burbs. Richard, whose specialty is global economic trends (how convenient that he hails from London, lives in Boston, and visits DC), was speaking late last week at CBRE's Moving Up the Risk Curve 2015 forecast at the Marriott Marquis.
