Greystar Acquires Riverstone

Greystar is the largest operator of apartments in the US, with over 385,000 apartment units under management in over 100 major markets throughout the US and abroad. The deal will enhance Greystar’s presence in the western US. With over 10,000 team members, the company manages some of the country’s biggest apartment communities. Riverstone was formerly owned by London-based CAS Capital Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Regis Group, owned by Nick and Peter Gould. Greystar also has $1.5B of development underway along with an institutional investment management platform with over $7.5B in assets in major markets globally.
