The Internet’s awesome power was proven when more than 2,000 soccer-crazed DC residents sent over 27,000 emails to the mayor and city council in support of the DC United soccer stadium proposal. Tom, with a strong background in professional sports and entertainment, took the COO job in February. He says the stadium, proposed for construction at Buzzard Point, will provide great economic benefit to the city.
