Hundreds of D.C. real estate professionals gathered Saturday for the fifth annual Chili Cook-Off held by Cushman & Wakefield's Mid-Atlantic Project & Development Services team.

The event raised $78K to benefit Race for Hope D.C., an organization that supports brain tumor research on behalf of the National Brain Tumor Society. That nearly doubled their 2016 fundraising total of $40K.

Dozens of companies set up tables with their chili, providing free samples to guests and being judged on a variety of factors. The winners were Knoll for best overall, WB Engineers + Consultants for people's choice, OLS Trading for most unique, Palm Facility Services for Picante Pepper, Office Images/All Steel/HNI One for vegetarian and Diversified for team spirit.

The event, held at NoMa's Wunder Garten beer garden, also featured a cornhole tournament. The M Group took home the prize for that competition.

A series of raffles was held with prizes such as Washington Capitals tickets, a three-month pass to Cyclebar, a 24-inch television and a free Escape Room experience.

Guests were treated to live music from Split String Soup, a band with Cushman & Wakefield's Nate Edwards on guitar and vocals.
