Last night, we stopped by Il Fornaio in Reston Town Center for a CREW Northern Virginia dinner featuring Fairfax County Board of Supervisors chairman Sharon Bulova (snapped with CREW NoVa prez Mary Moore of Syska Hennessy). Sharon tells us she's excited to implement "pop-up" infrastructure into the county in the form of temporary retail or food establishments. (When we're hungry, it's usually temporary until we eat, so this is a good idea.)
GeoConcepts' Rebecca Smth-Zakowicz (flanked by AV Architects' Francisca Alonso and McEnearney Commercial's Diane Sapperfield) is CREW NoVa's president-elect for 2014.
Haynes Whaley's Larisa Ramich (with colleague Debbie Buckham and WSP's Lisa Bryda) tells us her firm is the structural engineer for the new residential portion of Tysons Corner Center, and she's acting as project engineer.
