CoStar Makes Big Buy

CoStar and CEO Andy Florance do not let the grass grow under their feet. This morning they announced the purchase of rental listing site Apartments.com for $585M. The deal marks another coup for CoStar, which in years past acquired listing powerhouse LoopNet and high-level data firm PPR, among other new assets.
