CBRE, Scheer Partners Close Suburban Maryland Deals

We just can't get enough of Maryland today. This morning, CBRE announced it had arranged a 50k SF build-to-suit lease for ASRC Federal Holding Co at the Konterra Business Campus in Beltsville. The two-story building will serve as ASRC's HQ and will deliver in December, though ASRC will phase its move-in once construction is complete, according to CBRE's Mike Gillman, who repped ASRC with colleague Brad Wilner. As for why the flag is at half mast in this rendering, we'll assume it was the Terrapins loss to Virginia yesterday.

And over in Rockville, Scheer Partners' Matt Brady (second from right) and colleague Henry Bernstein announced this morning they repped United States Diagnostic Services in a new 10k SF lease at BioMed Realty Trust's 9712 Medical Center Dr. USDS, which is a private independent review body for medical diagnostics, will relocate from its current Rockville space at 155 Gibbs St.
