Big Deals Downtown

Two mega deals (sale and a lease) have just closed downtown. Beacon Capital Partners has sold 700 13th St in the East End for $212.7M, or a whopping $822/SF, according to DC public records. Fosterlane Management, the Kuwaiti-backed firm that purchased 1200 19th St last summer, is reportedly the buyer; Eastdil repped Beacon.

Across town, Lerner Enterprises and the Tower Cos just inked consulting firm Mercer to a 56k SF deal at Washington Square. It will take the entire seventh floor; CBRE's Randy Harrell repped Mercer, Cushman & Wakefield's Brian Raher and Brian Tucker repped the landlord.
