AIA | DC's Annual Fete

AIA | DC’s 2nd Annual Fall Design Fete last Friday at Union Station’s East Hall drew over 600 from architecture, design and real estate. Some of them included NBC News4 anchor Wendy Rieger, AIA | DC executive director Mary Fitch, DC city administrator Allen Lew and AIA | DC board president Sean Nohelty. The gala honored four people for their community contributions and raised $26k for the Washington Architectural Foundation. (Sean matched half of the money.) Allen was one of the honorees, along with Sorg Architects founding principal Suman Sorg, Washington/Alexandria Architecture Consortium professor Susan Piedmont-Palladino and McGraw Bagnoli Architect project architect Ryan McEnroe.
