After becoming Kettler's chief investment officer in September, Justin Glasgow has returned to the brokerage world.

CBRE announced Monday it hired Glasgow as senior vice president on its Mid-Atlantic Debt & Structured Finance team, where he will work with Vice Chair David Webb and Senior Vice President Maxi Leachman.

"He has a great skill set and a great sense of business savvy, particularly about construction deals and equity deals and more complicated transactions," Webb said. "He's got a pretty wide experience base so he's going to help us in all of those areas."

Kettler in late September brought on Glasgow to replace Asheel Shah as the firm's chief investment officer. The move came amid a series of executive departures from Kettler, which declined to comment for this story.

Glasgow said he left Kettler in January after about three and a half months because he wanted to move back into the brokerage side of the industry. He previously spent four years as a senior managing director at Cushman & Wakefield. His first day at CBRE was June 10.

"I have a number of relationships [at CBRE] and with David Webb, who I've known for a number of years," Glasgow said. "He and Maxi are two of the most productive finance professionals in the Mid-Atlantic. The opportunity to join a team of that caliber was kind of a no-brainer."

Webb in April was named the top regional finance agent at CREBA's annual awards dinner. The 12-person CBRE team has recently financed deals including Star Real Estate Ventures' $500M Maryland apartment portfolio acquisition and Donatelli Development's Hill East opportunity zone project, Webb said.
