Avison Young Hires D.C. Capital Markets Broker From CBRE

Avison Young is growing its capital markets platform with a new hire from CBRE.

Georgiana Condoiu spent eight years at CBRE, where she worked as a senior analyst participating in the sale of multibillion-dollar loan and property portfolios. In early 2014, she helped sell a 67-asset, $2.5B portfolio on behalf of a special servicer.

As a vice president at Avison Young, Condoiu will work out of the firm's D.C. office and help expand its presence across the country. In an email, she said she will focus more on business development and client relationships than transaction-level work.

"Having had exposure to some of the largest capital transactions, as well as asset and geography diversity, I can provide valuable insight as we expand the Avison Young capital markets platform," Conoiu said.
