City of Coquitlam
Concert Properties is partnering with the City of Coquitlam and YMCA of Greater Vancouver to develop a mixed-use project on 2.1 acres at Burquitlam Park, with a 55k SF YMCA and 1.5 acres retained for public open space. The YMCA is slated to open in 2021, and the project includes an additional 2.55 acres of park space at Cottonwood Park, to be completed by 2019. Both amenities—with delivery contingent on rezoning approval for Concert's mixed-use development—are being developed in response to the need for a recreation facility to serve the evolving Burquitlam neighbourhood.
