Group Germain Unveils Plans For Saskatchewan’s First Alt Hotel

Group Germain Hotels will soon start construction on a 15-floor Alt Hotel in Saskatoon, part of an extension to the city’s River Landing mixed-use development. The River Landing project—which also includes condos, office and commercial space— is owned in a JV between Greystone Managed Investments, Victory Majors and Triovest Realty Advisors. The hotel, with 155 guest rooms and 4k SF of meeting space, will be the third Alt Hotel property in Western Canada; the first opened in Winnipeg last year and a Calgary location launches in 2017. Group Germain is aiming to have 20 properties nationwide by 2020.
