Manulife Buys 49% Interest In Multifamily Asset Manager QMLP

Manulife Asset Management Private Markets has acquired a 49% interest in Q Management LP, the asset and property management arm of Conundrum Capital Corp. Conundrum oversees $875M in invested and committed equity, representing a $1.3B multifamily portfolio of 38 properties and 7,100-plus units in Ontario (including 2240 Weston Rd, above). MAMPM CEO Kevin Adolphe says the QMLP portfolio will give his group the opportunity to broaden its global private asset management platform by diversifying and expanding its equity real estate capabilities and product offering.
