CentreCourt To Build First Residential Project At Vaughan Metropolitan Centre

SmartREIT is partnering with CentreCourt Developments on the first residential project at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. It also marks SmartREIT's first-ever residential development. Each firm holds a 50% stake, and the parties are finalizing plans for a proposed development with 700 units in two towers, both 35 storeys. Sales are slated to launch next spring. CentreCourt brings downtown development expertise to the burgeoning VMC, anchored by SmartCentres Place, a 100-acre, 17M SF master planned development that’ll have an eight-acre park, 100k SF YMCA and direct connection to the extended subway, opening next year.
