Dream and Great Gulf have formed a JV to complete the acquisition of 351-369 Lake Shore Blvd E. The 5.3-acre waterfront site (above) will be home to a mixed-use project with potential for 1M SF of development over three blocks, according to the builders. The community will be bisected by an extension of Queens Quay East to Cherry Street, with an LRT being added along Queens Quay. The site is home to the Victory Soya Mills Silos, constructed during World War II and heritage-listed in 2004. The development will preserve the silos through adaptive reuse or rehabilitation. Great Gulf is currently building Monde, another mixed-use project in East Bayfront.
