The issue of each of us paying more in taxes and levies to fund transit, as Metrolinx recommends (its CEO Bruce McCuaig above), continues to stir up a nice debate. According to Metropolitan Commercial Realty sales rep Amir Nourbakhsh: I think the challenge is not so much that people dont want better transit, but rather that we would prefer that others pay for it. Forget NIMBY-ism, the new buzzword should be NFMBA-ism [Not From My Bank Account].
