For Caesars Entertainment EVP Jan Jones, the final, formal decision by City Council on Tuesday to quash the downtown casino wasnt the final chapter in the companys GTA quest. (They aren't out of chips just yet.) Even though $100M hosting fees are now out of the question, Premier Kathleen Wynne did indicate that its full steam ahead for OLGs plan to add casinos across the province. That opens up the possibility of a casino in areas like Vaughan or Markham. We are going to move on to other opportunities in the Toronto region, Jan tells us.
