Pinnacle International will soon be going in front of the Waterfront Design Review Panel to present its plan for the massive, mixed-use 1 Yonge St site, where the Toronto Star building presently sits. A big part of that involves Waterfront Toronto, the organization that is the master-planner of government-owned land down by the water (preparing land for developers). While this is a proposed project on private sector land, whats comforting to know is WT also appointed the independent design review panel, including architects, urban planners, engineers, from all across Canada, with the blessing of the city. That panel will hear what the Pinnacle teams designs plans arethen makea recommendation to the city.
