Nordstrom Anchors $331M Yorkdale Expansion

Yesterday,Yorkdale Shopping Centre announced another major expansion--adding 300k SF--a $331M project that'll launch in January and will finish by fall 2016. (We know what we want, so let's hope there are no fashion trend changes over the next three years.)

The new expansion will be anchored by an 188k SF Nordstrom. Yorkdale wrapped up a 145k SF, $220M redevelopment last November. We have identified ourselves as a force when it comes to any kind of retail you are looking for, Yorkdale GM Anthony Casalanguida(right) says. Yorkdale recently announced 12 new retailers, including David Yurman, John Varvatos, Mulberry, and White House Black Market.
