Ryerson University is launching a new Real Estate Management program for Bachelor of Commerce students, a direct response to Torontos robust real estate scene. (It was either that or start teaching kindergarteners about triple net leases.) Courses will launch in the fall 2014.
Cynthia Holmes, a business management professor at the school, tells us the new program is based on what industry insiders on the schools board of advisors are telling them the industry will need. Over the next few years, the city will need recruits to fill CRE leadership vacuums. The school will churn out the first grads in 2017.
