One month in as SMD for NKF Devencore's global corporate services, Gregg Wassmansdorf is struck by parallels between consulting and coaching hockey."If I'm not on a plane visiting clients, I'm in a rink with my son's or daughter's team," says Gregg (shown at Emily's practice last night). "In consulting, we guide clients through processes to create higher performance. With kids, we're attempting the same thing." (Clients and kids also both play non-contact.) A dual citizen with geography degrees from Queen's and USC, Gregg worked 14 years for Colliers in Canada and the US. The site selection and economic incentives specialist now has expanded duties, integrating expertise on a team of 30-plus and playing "cross-border conduit," helping foreign and domestic clients here and Canadian clients abroad.
