CRE Heading Into Another Strong Year: CIBC

CIBC Equity Analyst Alex Avery, who covers the CRE sector (Alex was one of the speakers at the banks annual real estate conference in Toronto last week), says while property fundamentals in the GTA remain intact--that is, cost and availability of debt, and supply of new developments--hes not as bullish about real estate as he was at the beginning of 2012. Thats not to say that its not a very favourable outlook, he says. The cost and availability of debt appears quite stable for the next few years, and the magnitude of construction activity is quite balanced.
