Redevelopment of the Former Golden Sands Hotel Underway

Hoist those shovels! SMG Management, W Capital Group and the Disney family’s Shamrock Holdings recently broke ground on L’Atelier Residences in Miami Beach, one of the last remaining developable oceanfront parcels in the city. The existing property at that site, the former Golden Sands Hotel, will be redeveloped into residences while preserving the three-story historic façade of the building. L’Atelier Residences is designer Holly Hunt’s first-ever residential development, reimagined into 22 three- to four-bedroom units priced from $3.6M to $25M. It will be completed in 2017.
