BVM Development has proposed redeveloping a site in the Buena Vista neighborhood of Miami into a mixed-use project it calls Upper Buena Vista, featuring residential units, a restaurant and a hotel.
The site, less than an acre at NE 2nd Avenue and NE 50th Street, includes an existing 4k SF building dating from the 1930s that would become a restaurant. BVM would also build a 24-room hotel, seven residential cottages, retail space and a wellness center, the South Florida Business Journal reports.
The project, designed by Colombia-based INSPACIO and Miami’s MODIS Architects, should be completed by 2018. [SFBJ]
