Chatham Bags Fort Lauderdale Hotel

Chatham Lodging Trust inked a deal to acquire the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal/Il Lugano, as well as a Residence Inn in Boston, for a combined $55M from Claremont Cos. The West Palm Beach REIT didn't break down the price for each property, but the 105-room hotel in Fort Lauderdale last traded for $19M in August 2014, the South Florida Business Journal reports. The property, built in 2008, is located at 3333 NE 32nd Ave and branded by Marriott. [SFBJ]
