The Miami Marlins already have a "Budweiser Balcony" and a poolside bar inside their Major League Baseball stadium, but that won't stop them from adding a 3K SF beer hall.

This coming season, the Biscayne Bay Brew Hall will open as part of a five-year partnership between the team and Biscayne Bay Brewing Co.

The brew hall, to be located in the atrium area near sections 15 and 16 on the Promenade Level, will feature a bar, a video wall and performance space, according to a statement posted on the team's website. The spread will have a large garage door wall that allows it to function as an open-air space.

The facility is expected to be ready by Opening Day on March 26. It will be open during games and can also be rented for private events year-round. Biscayne Bay Brewing is developing a Marlins-themed beer that will be sold in the stadium and at other retail locations.

Marlins Park opened in 2012, amid great controversy over the cost to taxpayers — about $2B. Unique features included an outpost of the Clevelander, the famed party-centric bar on South Beach, and a $2.5M pastel-colored sculpture that moved and squirted water every time a Marlin hit a home run.

In 2017, former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and a group of investors bought the team from the owner who orchestrated the controversial stadium deal, Jeffrey Loria. They began modernizing the stadium by moving the sculpture out in front of the park and building a tiered social space in its place.

Prior to the 2019 season, the team redesigned its premium area and revamped concessions, according to Ballpark Digest. This year, synthetic turf will be installed and outfield fences will be moved in by 12 feet, since its spacious outfield makes it notoriously difficult for batters to hit home runs. But Miamians are still waiting on the youth academy that was promised more than a decade ago.

Coors Field in Denver was home to MLB's first stadium brewery in 1995, when it opened Sandlot Brewery, according to Beer Connoisseur. The Milwaukee Brewers, amazingly, don't have a brewery or brewpub at Miller Park, but their fans' tailgating is renowned.
