Mega Donation Launches School Wellness Center

Work will proceedon a wellness center at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, an all-girls Catholic school in Cocoanut Grove (and the only such K-12 school in the state). Investor and philanthropist Mike Fernandez, along with his family,donated $1M toward the center's development.The facility will include training facilities, a gymnastics studio, weight cardio center, an indoor track, and a gym able to support two volleyball courts and a full basketball court.
