If The Weather Girls were living in Seattle right now, they'd be singing that it was raining apartments (Hallelujah!). Several thousand new units are under construction, and those just finished are being scooped up like Starbucks giftcards just before Christmas. One success story: Wood Partners' Jasper by Alta in Wedgwood is more than half leased despite having been open only a little more than a month. Here's Wood development VP Steve Orser, who's leading the charge of Wood's newfound presence in Seattle (a project in Belltown is also in the works). He's on the rooftop lounge of the 91-unit complex, which features unusual amenities for apartments, like walk-in closets and 1,400 SF floorplans.
