Downtown Seattle's Population Projected to Rise

The Downtown Seattle Association has released its 2015 State of Downtown, and it's an eye-popper. Here are some numbers: 65,000 people now live downtown, up 8% since 2010, and that's predicted to increase 10% more in the next five years. Also, about 250,000 work there every day, and 15M SF of office space is underway in the market. Amazon alone is going to take 10M SF.
