Here's the scene at the recent Bricks & Books Auction, where $138k was raised to benefit Rainier Scholars. Skanska Seattle's office, which hosted, has partnered with the nonprofit Rainier, which provides students of color with access to higher education. Rainier Scholars are typically from low-income households and over 85% will be the first in their families to earn degrees. The company's partnership includes an internship program for Rainier Scholars.
