A Study In Purple

It isn't only new dorms being built at the University of Washington. Here's a rendering for one of two new U-District apartment buildings Resmark and Intracorp will be breaking ground on early next year. (This being the U-District, Resmark and Intracorp have cleverly made their design a positively Husky shade of purple.) This 161-unit building planned for 4545 8th Ave NE will have at least three things beloved by students and young professional types: affordability,connectivity, and bike storage. (No word on extra storage for beer.) Resmark's been taking advantage of the apartment climate; the buildings bring the total number of Resmark properties in the greater Seattle area to four.
