SummerHill Apartment Communities has completed its latest project in Silicon Valley. The new 186-unit luxury apartment community Villas on the Boulevard in Santa Clara provides a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments from 758 SF to 1,378 SF. The four-story building at 2615 East El Camino Real was designed by KTGY Architecture + Planning and includes a one-story, partially subterranean garage.

Units include expansive windows, kitchens with stainless steel Energy Star appliances and European-style cabinetry, wood-style flooring, quartz countertops, large kitchen pantries, an in-unit full-size washer and dryer, large walk-in closets, private storage and balconies or patios.

Residents have access to electric vehicle charging stations, a carpool web portal and secure bicycle storage and repair facilities. Additional amenities include a resident lounge with a kitchen, a cybercafé, a conference room, a fitness center, a resort-style swimming pool with a spa, poolside cabanas, an outdoor kitchen with lounge seating and a fireplace, green space for recreation and a pet spa. A half-acre pedestrian promenade and fitness course also are available.

As part of the development, SummerHill widened the sidewalk, added street trees, landscaping and tiled stoops leading to the apartment homes. Villas on the Boulevard is close to Caltrain and VTA stations, central expressways and highways.

SummerHill has six other communities in California in various stages of planning and development, including the 994-unit master plan in Santa Clara, 268 units in Burlingame, 694 units and 36,500 SF of retail near the future Milpitas BART station, a proposed 211-unit complex in Mountain View, a 105-unit complex under construction in Pasadena and a proposed 255-unit complex in Carlsbad. SummerHill is actively leasing 481 on Mathilda in Sunnyvale and Origin, a 153-unit complex in Seattle.
