Potrero Expansion On Tap For Philz

A coffee cult classic is coming to Potrero Hill, as Philiz Coffee is slated to get a new home on 17th St between De Haro and Carolina, SocketSite reports. At 1,500 SF, the shop would go into the bottom of the 21-unit Onyx complex at 415 De Haro (here's our elementary attempt at what signage will look like). The brand's original locale isn't too far away in the Mission, and has erupted in popularity. Umpqua Bank is planning to occupy the other empty space at Onyx. The Planning Department is recommending that the Planning Commission OK the application.
