A proposed Mission District project at 2000-2070 Bryant St lives to fight another day after San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors unanimously rejected two appeals to overturn previous approvals for the "Beast on Bryant." The six-story project will contain nearly 200 market-rate apartments at 2000 Bryant St, a ground-floor 84-space garage and 7K SF of retail, reports SocketSite.

An adjacent building proposed at 2070 Bryant St, which developer Nick Podell Co dedicated to the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development, will include more than 100 below-market-rate units and 7k SF of art space. The two buildings will be connected with 4k SF of new production, distribution and repair (PDR) space at the ground level. The current 50k SF warehouse on 2000 Bryant is awaiting demolition. [SS]
