Down here on terra firma, the deal-making goes on at two Equity Office properties. Symantec will occupy an additional building (135k SF) at Mountain View Gateway Center, 500 E Middlefield Rd (above). The tech giant already leases an adjacent 101k SF building. Meanwhile, long-time Equity tenant KPMG signed a 78k SF lease at Mission Towers I in Santa Clara, relocating from Mountain View Gateway in Q4. Equity’s Todd Hedrick repped Equity in-house in both deals. CB Richard Ellis’ Ken Gilbert repped KPMG. Symantec was a direct transaction with the tenant.
