NAIOP San Diego Elects 2016 Leadership

NAIOP San Diego has installed Nelson Ackerly, senior leasing director at Irvine Co Office Properties, as president for 2016, and elected a new board of directors.

Nelson and the new NAIOP board will continue promoting the organization by providing opportunities to engage in networking and educational programs. NAIOP also sponsors the Leaders programUniversity Challenge, which challenges real estate students to devise development proposals; philanthropic initiatives, including the 1st Marine Raider Battalion at Camp Pendleton; and legislative lobbying on matters that affect the industry.

Other 2016 NAIOP officers are immediate past president Dan Broderick, market leader at Cushman & Wakefield; treasurer Gary Katz, SVP at NetREIT; and secretary Tom Turner, chairman/CEO at Procopio Cory Hargreaves & Savitch.
