Hotel Z Gets New Owners Fresh From Grand Opening

The new Hotel Z has a new owner. Bellevue-based Columbia West Properties picked up the 96-room boutique hotel in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter for an undisclosed sum from J Street Hospitality. Pineapple Hospitality operates the newly opened hotel, renovated and repositioned by J Street. CBRE's Bob Kaplan and Rod Apodaca, who brokered the sale of the 224-room DoubleTree San Diego Del Mar to Southwest Value Partners late last month, brokered the sale.
